You failed to include the E Street Band, inducted in 2014. (Of course, Bruce who was inducted in 1999, inducted them.) They're the only backing band inducted in their own right, independent of the singer whom they back.

Why are bands like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, ZZ Top AC/DC and Deep purple in?

Meatloaf, Randy Bachman, Alan Parsons, Trevor Horn, The Runaways, Boston, Styx, Oasis, Supertramp, Bryan Adams, and XTC all deserve to be in the R.& R. H.o.F., but as yet, none of them are!
